A report of harassment was made to the IUS Police Department when a Campus Life employee reported an adviser for the Alpha Phi sorority told her that if she handed out certain fliers again, “shit was going to go down.”
Sept. 11 at 5:43 p.m.
A battery report was filed when a resident of Woodland Lodge reported that while at the Activities Building with his roommate, his roommate struck him in his testicles.
He returned the favor and struck his roommate in his testicles. The complainant reported the two began to argue when they returned to their dorm room, and informed the officer that his roommate often made harassing comments about his sexual preferences.
The complainant also reported that his roommate took his Game Boy and stuck it in his pants around his “private area.”
The complainant told IUS Police he no longer wished to pursue his complaint as he and his roommate had resolved their issues.
Sept. 13 at 1:58 p.m.
A smoke alarm was set off in Meadow Lodge when a student oversprayed Axe Body Spray.
Sept. 14 at 10:53 a.m.
Criminal mischief was investigated when a prank call was received from an Orchard Lodge emergency phone. IUS Police spoke with the students who were shown on camera making the call.
Sept. 15 at 9:57 a.m.
A smoke alarm was set off in Orchard Lodge when a student burned a bagel in their dorm room.
Sept. 15 at 12:18 p.m.
A theft from a motor vehicle was reported to IUS Police when a student wanted to report a laptop computer had been stolen in Louisville. IUS Police referred them to the Louisville Metro Police Department since the theft had not occurred on IUS property.
Sept. 15 at 2:43 p.m.
A smoke alarm was set off in Forest Lodge when a student burned chicken.
Sept. 16 at 8:33 p.m.
A smoke alarm was set off by a low battery in the detector. No dinners were burned in this incident.
Sept. 17 at 9:46 a.m.
A vehicle was towed from the Woodside Lot for having 10 unpaid parking tickets.
