A professor in Crestview Hall didn’t feel well and called for assistance getting to the first aid room located in the IUS Police Department.
Nov. 16 at 9:35 p.m.
IUS Police arrested two residents of Grove Lodge after receiving an anonymous report. Ben D. James, 18, was arrested for possession of less than 30 grams of marijuana and possession of paraphernalia. Lee D. Mai, 18, was arrested for possession of paraphernalia and possession of alcohol by a minor. Both were transported to Floyd County Jail.
Nov. 17 at 12:07 a.m.
IUS Police received a noise complaint from a resident in Meadow Lodge. When an officer arrived, there was no noise.
Nov. 17 at 11:51 a.m.
IUS Police received a call from a student using the emergency phone outside of Meadow Lodge. She told the dispatcher that she could not locate the house phone to make her call. The student was advised that if she would simply step into the main foyer of the dorm, she would see the phone. There was no emergency.
Nov. 17 at 8:30 p.m.
IUS Police responded to a report of harassment in Woodland Lodge.
Nov. 17 at 10:21 p.m.
IUS Police received a request to see if the doors to the IUS Children’s Center were locked. The doors were locked.
Nov. 18 at 12:37 a.m.
Students playing loud music in Magnolia Parking Lot were told by IUS Police to keep it down.
Nov. 18 at 11:13 a.m.
A smoke alarm was set off in Orchard Lodge by a student burning eggs.
Nov. 18 at 1 a.m.
A student parked in the Central Parking Lot needed help changing a flat tire. IUS Police didn’t have the necessary tools and were unable to help change the tire.
