  • Steve Weaver, more locally known as Uncle Jesse, takes a break from selling his famous chili while the crowd settles in for the annual Creepy Cruise-In ant the Georgetown Drive-In. “We do the chili every fall. Normally we just do steaks and hotdogs. It’s Billy’s wife’s [chili]. She makes the best chili,” said Weaver.

  • Larry Underwood, in costume as his alter-ego the Nashville, Tenn. horror television host Dr. Gangrene, supervises the raffle for a vintage arcade machine and advertises for his new film, “Tales From Parts Unknown”, before the film’s premier at the Georgetown Drive-In. “I have always been a horror movie fan. 21 years ago, I decided to start this up with a friend of mine who was a director and he said he thought it would last for about five episodes… 21 years later I’m still doing it. I just have a love of the genre and I hope it comes through in what I do,” said Underwood.

  • Horror fans gather around Nashville, Tenn.’s Dr. Gangrene, Larry Underwood, as he hosts an impromptu horror trivia game for free films. “Everybody’s wearing masks and trying to socially distance. I think everybody’s really glad to get out and have something to do you know? It’s nice that the drive-ins are outside, it gives people a safe alternative since you can’t go to movie theaters right now. So drive-ins are it, and we’re just glad to be here and glad to be playing our movie. This is the world premiere, it’s never been seen by the public yet,” said Underwood.

  • Fans gather around the Georgetown Drive-In Snack Bar to see actors Nicholas Brendon and Santiago Cirilo arrive for the Creepy Cruise-In’s celebrity meet and greet. “I’ve grown up watching Buffy with my mom, unfortunately my mom is not here right now, but I’ve grown up watching them and its like nostalgia. That’s why I’m here,” said movie-goer and Xander Harris fan Bailey Boggs.

  • Nicholas Brendon, who appeared as Xander Harris in the television series “Buffy the Vampire Slayer”, coordinates with staff from the Georgetown Drive-In while the night’s MC and Georgetown Drive-In owner Bill Powell gets the audience ready for his entrance.
