Dear Horizon editors,
This is to correct false notions from an article by C.J. Daniels.
In fact, people have regulary said negative comments about Tiger Woods before his scandal.
They have remarked how he has cursed, slammed his clubs and has not been approachable on golf courses.
He does owe us something. He owes us the truth when he bothers to share information about events involving himself.
As just one example, Tiger Woods lied in his speech when he stated his wife, Elin, had not attacked him.
Also, he blamed the media, in part, for going after him, when he brought the attention on himself.
You bring up about no one caring if he had been the average Joe.
The average Joe doesn’t make millions from endorsements and appearing at major golf tournaments.
However, you’re trying to have it both ways; he is a role model when he does good
actions such as his foundation, but don’t label him a role model when he commits scandalous behaviors.
It is changing the subject by blaming Americans because they righteously judge Tiger’s actions as abhorrent.
For one, when the guilty don’t have real remorse, and they make an unchallenged speech because they want to keep the money flowing by stopping the bleeding from fleeing endorsers and because they got caught.
And one of the largest errors you have made, considering your job, is that you referred to what Tiger Woods has done as “mistakes.”
All of his actions were deliberate, as well as numerous with many women.
A mistake is accidental or unintentional. By typing “mistake,” you are deflecting and trying to have us believe he is a victim.
Tiger Woods has shown us he is not worthy of our trust.
