An officer responded to a complaint of marijuana smell in Meadow Lodge, but the officer was unable to locate the smell. There was another odor complaint in the same lodge about an hour later at 3:15 a.m., but the officer was again unable to locate the smell.
May 26 at 3:41 a.m.
IUS Police responded to suspicious people at the IUS Lake. It turns out they were looking for turtles.
May 26 at 3:49 p.m.
IUS Police responded to a drug violation on campus in the Evergreen East Parking Lot. IUS Police waited for parents to pick up the high school students, who were juveniles.
June 3 at 2:02 p.m.
Parents of a student in Meadow Lodge requested an officer check on the welfare of their child since they had not heard from them in four days. Indiana State Police took a missing person report. The student was later located selling magazines in Tennessee.
June 26 at 2:44 a.m.
Someone at the Rainbow Dance Academy on Grant Line Road made a request because of a suspicious person nearby. The suspicious person checked out OK and was a resident of an apartment upstairs.
June 28 at 3:31 p.m.
An officer responded to a report of suspicious activities of a person at a dumpster in the Evergreen West Parking Lot. The person turned out to be a construction worker looking for lost equipment.
July 9 at 12:29 p.m.
IUS Police responded to a report of a man with a gun in the University Center at 12:25 p.m. An officer located the subject and determined he did not have a weapon.
July 14 at 6:32 p.m.
A suspicious person was reported on Alumni Drive. Harold Springer, 52, of Clarksville, was arrested for public intoxication and on a warrant out of Clark County.
July 21 at noon
A complaint was made of a person refusing to leave Meadow Lodge. Officers arrived at 12:02 p.m. The subject was escorted out of the building and asked to leave campus until his appointment with a vice chancellor later in the day.
July 22 at 1:44 p.m.
A couple was asked to leave the building after heavy petting was reported in the Game Room.
Aug. 9 at 6:59 a.m.
An officer responded to an employee who splashed their face with window washer fluid. An injury report was taken.
Aug. 9 at 5:45 p.m.
An officer responded to Meadow Lodge on a report of items stolen from a student’s room. Items taken include a DVD box set, PS3 with cables, laptop and flash drive.
Aug. 16 at 1:52 p.m.
An officer observed a vehicle parked in front of the Activities Building with a sleeping infant locked inside. A verbal warning was issued to the parent.
