Sept. 3 at 7:09 p.m.

A report of a theft was made in Meadow Lodge. Items stolen include glassware, dinnerware, silverware, Tupperware, pots and pans.

Sept. 4 at 2:18 a.m.

IUS Police responded to a suspicious vehicle in the Hickory Parking Lot. Turns out the person was just letting someone out of the car.

Sept. 6 at 11:04 p.m.

Possible drug use was reported in Orchard Lodge by a roommate. Consent for a search was given, but nothing was found.

Sept. 7 at 4:19 p.m.

A student called IUS Police to report some  smoldering mulch by the Physical Sciences
Building.

The mulch was soon doused with water by a passing student.

Sept. 7 at 7:15 p.m.

A hit-and-run was reported in the Evergreen West Parking Lot. An officer took a report of minor damage to the front end of the car.

Sept. 8 at 4:18 p.m.

A padlock was removed from a student’s locker in the Ogle Center after the student locked her keys inside. The responding officer was able to unlock it.

Sept. 8 at 9:17 p.m.

A student called saying he had been physically assaulted by another student in a computer lab in Knobview Hall.

There was no physical sign of injury, and the matter will be handled administratively.
