Who is Gus…

IUS Horizon March 20, 2009
Editors’ Note: The Horizon knows who Gus the Grenadier is, but we’re not telling just yet. However, here are the Las Vegas odds on who’s under the costume.

SGA, quit hiding

IUS Horizon March 16, 2009
s one of the few students who votes in the Student Government Association elections at IU Southeast, I was a little shocked to learn the SGA thought spending their excess budget money on T-shirts or jackets for current members might be a good idea

Can I get some lettuce please

IUS Horizon March 16, 2009
On Monday, March 9, at approximately 2:30 p.m., I was hungry. I didn’t feel like getting in my car and heading to a fast food restaurant, so I decided to hit up the University Center Food Court. IUS Horizon March 7, 2009
It’s one thing when you talk about an organization privately with colleagues or express your frustration with your coverage in the student newspaper. It’s something entirely different when you talk about it while you’re giving a tour of IU Southeast to prospective students or anyone else.

Crazy like a fox or just plain crazy?

IUS Horizon March 7, 2009
When Brother Rick Bradley came to campus Thursday, Feb. 26, students mocked his words. They laughed at his antics. Some even yelled and screamed at him to argue with him about his message.

The God dilemma

IUS Horizon March 7, 2009
It is a problem when vaginal mutilation occurs because of it or when a father disowns his son for his sexual orientation. It is a huge problem when we kill one another because my god is the true God and your god is a cruddy little wanker. UK coach Gillispie not getting job done

IUS Horizon March 7, 2009
The NCAA Basketball Tournament is right around the corner, and for the fourth straight year, the University of Kentucky Wildcats sit squarely on the bubble.

Terms for who?

IUS Horizon March 7, 2009
Facebook’s change in its terms of use caused a lot of stir in the media last week, and for good reason.
