Kathyrn Ross, Staff Reporter (Spring 2015)
Hi! My name is Kathyrn Ross and I am a sophomore Journalism major, and a staff reporter for the Horizon newspaper this semester. I love being part of the Horizon team – and having the opportunity to meet fellow students and professors. My true north is writing and my passion is storytelling – which is why I decided at this stage in my life to go back to school and get the degree I always wanted.
In my personal life, I work as a personal historian – crafting biographies, memoirs and personal histories for clients. My hobbies include watercolour painting, graphic art, designing Edwardian fashion miniatures and dollhouse miniatures. I am a California transplant and have lived in Louisville for nearly six years. I share my life with a loving, attention-craving best friend, Miss Pup, who is a Terrier/Boxer/English Setter mix – as well as, a son, two daughters and a precious granddaughter.
