Computer graphics artist adds flare, effects to reality

Brandon Clements, computer graphics junior, is an aspiring visual effects and computer graphics artist, and his work has won awards in various competitions. Clements has created cities, demolished cars and set them on fire through visual effects. At Purdue University, Clements takes computer graphic classes, which vary from Digital Audio and Video to Digital Lighting and Rendering. Digital lighting and Rendering is widely used in animated movies, such as “Toy Story.” “It is one of the key things I have to understand for my future career,” Clements said.
