The Flyers, a Special Olympics basketball team from Louisville, is a program that has been going on for seven years. The Flyers scrimmaged during halftime at the IUS men’s basketball game on Feb. 9. “There are 12 players on the team this year,” Danny Lane, The Flyers head coach, said.

The White Out event took place in the Activities Building on Feb. 11. It kicked off homecoming students and alumni school spirit. IUS students came out to support the men’s and women’s basketball teams to celebrate the Grenadiers basketball homecoming. Festivities at the event included free Papa John’s pizza, sponsored by the Athletic Department.
