Last semester, students received an e-mail saying the campus was switching their student e-mail from Webmail to either Imail or Umail. This change was enforced throughout all IU campuses.
The change, which occurred in November, is part of IU Bloomington’s plan to give students better e-mail and more choices.
Alden Krausse, junior forward, said her love of basketball started early and has stayed with her all the way through college. She is now in her third year of playing for IU Southeast.
Kelly Ryan, assistant professor of history, doesn’t focus on the traditional topics of history. Some of what she teaches includes history of African-Americans and also sexuality in women.
Amy Zink loves everything Spanish. Not only does she teach many classes at IU Southeast, but she is actively involved with the local Hispanics in New Albany.
The Volunteer Fair filled the Hoosier Room on Wednesday, Sept. 9. The event was held to get students to sign up to volunteer at various non-profit organizations located in different communities in the region.
The bad economy does not seem to be stopping students from going to IU Southeast - in fact, it seems to be helping.
The enrollment records for this semester indicate a 5.8 percent increase from the 6,461 students enrolled in the fall of 2008.
