Going from living in New Albany to living in Odessa, Ukraine, is quite an adjustment. We were picked up at the Odessa train station by Maxym and Autsana. Maxym spoke some English and Autsana spoke Russian. They piled us into the small white van and we sped down through the streets. The ride was bumpy and a little frightening.
