Grenadier sports fans now have another reason to cheer. The IUS Athletics Department has launched an online network, which allows fans to stream live games. The Grenadier Sports Network is the brainchild of Joe Glover, athletic director, and Stephen Utz, sports information director.

Kevin Evans, special education junior and Student Government Association vice president, is currently working on getting information from the math, science and language labs centralized on one website in order to save students time from having to visit multiple sites. “I feel that it is beneficial to students to have all of these resources located in one place instead of having to click around a bunch of different links,” Evans said. “Right now, if you go to the Student Development Center website on the left hand side, you have to go all the way down to the bottom of the page.” Math, language and science are not the only labs offered at IU Southeast.

The Student Government Association passed a proposal that would change how syllabuses are viewed at their meeting on Oct. 27. According to the proposal, instead of the course syllabus going onto OnCourse when classes start, they will be available before the start of the respective semester. Kevin Evans, secondary education junior and SGA vice president, said he has been working on getting the proposal into effect since the start of the school year. “The policy still has to go through some committees and the Faculty Senate before it can be approved,” Evans said. “The chancellor will also have to look over it.”
