Thomas Kalonji, Staff Reporter
Thomas Kalonji is a senior in international studies with a concentration on Africa and a double minor in political science and public relations. He earned his associate degree in legal studies from Ivy Tech Community College in 2018. Rather versatile, he is a Manufacturing Skill Standards Council (MSSC) certified logistics technician and holds a certificate in airfield lighting systems for maintenance executives from the ADB Training Center in Zaventem, Belgium. He has traveled to several European and African countries and has visited a few US states. As a result, he is fluent in multiple languages, including French and English, as well as other African languages. After graduating from IUS in December, he would still like to work in the private sector or in an international organization or pursue a PhD in international affairs or political science. Thomas Kalonji lives in Jeffersonville, Indiana, and in his time off, he enjoys listening to gospel jazz and studying sacred texts.
