April 4 at 8:30 p.m. An IUS Police officer pulled over Adam J. Noon, 19, for not stopping at a stop sign near the main entrance of IU Southeast. The officer smelled marijuana when Noon rolled down the window of his silver Honda, and, upon searching the vehicle, found both marijuana and drug paraphernalia. Noon was arrested and taken to Floyd County Jail.

March 22 at 9:19 a.m. A female Dining and Conference Services employee came into the IUS Police Department to file an injury report. She had been injured while setting up for a banquet when a table, leaning against a wall in the Dining and Conference Services hallway, slid and hit her in the head. She was not seriously injured, and the report was procedural.

March 12 at 4:30 p.m. IUS Police were dispatched to Hoosier Room East when a female student was injured during the Residence Life Face-off. The student injured her left middle finger while participating in a team-building activity that ended when another person stepped on her finger while using a wooden plank. I want to say something bad about team-building, but I’m pretty sure I don’t need to here.
