It was staff versus students in an array of games that was held on Tuesday, Aug. 26, near the Athletics Building on campus.As part of the fun and games of the Week of Welcome, staff and students were invited to participate in a variety of competitive challenges. Games ranging from tire-jumping, table tennis, jousting, tricycle racing, astro-jump and a relay run were offered.
Kimberly Pelle, coordinator of nontraditional students, participated in the tricycle race.
“I’m worn out,” Pelle said. “Especially paddling uphill.”
A variety of snacks and drinks were provided to the students. Assistant basketball coach, Antwain Banks was busy grilling hamburgers.
“I’m keeping very busy,” Banks said. “They’re eating them as fast as I can grill them.”
