Sam Haney, Art and Visuals Editor
Samuel Haney is a reporter and the Arts and Visuals Editor for The Horizon. He is a second-year student and a multimedia journalism major with a Spanish minor. Sam has been working with journalism since high school. During his sophomore year of high school, he was the Features Editor of the Bagpiper and then during his junior and senior years he became the Graphic & Arts editor. He also has a background in radio and TV, working in the WNAS Radio/TV program for four years with Floyd Central as a producer, camera man, floor manager, AV technician, editor, and director. In his free time, Sam often draws freelance art pieces and graphics while working and keeping grades up.
