The New Dynamic Records Label has been a part of the music department at IU Southeast since 2005.
Erich Stem, associate professor of music, Joanna Goldstein, associate professor of music and Timothy Haertel, lecturer of music industry, came together to make this dream of Stem’s come true. Stem’s dream was to someday have a record label to not only record classical and original music from the original artists, but to have a new sound that not everyone has heard. This new sound or music is known as art music and it comes from all over the world.
This exotic and new music not only captures the amazing sounds of these unique instruments and artists, but it also tells the story behind the music. Stem’s dream was to not only hear the passion in the music, but for the musicians to have a place where they could feel their passion when they play their music.
