As college students hoping to land jobs after graduation it’s important to learn interviewing skills. Research is an important skill according to Lynn Prinz, assistant director of career development. This is important because it helps the interviewee prepare for the questions that may be asked. Sitting straight in the chair and being conscious of hand motions is important as well.
Prinz said the Career Development Center will help students practice interviewing skills through mock interviews. The New Albany Floyd Country Library is also a source to help with interviewing skills according to Paulette Gibbs, adult services divisional manager.
