The smell of food and sounds of live entertainment filled The Commons and Hoosier Room on Tues. Mar. 4th. Students, faculty, staff, and people from the local community were invited to enjoy foods from different cultures and live entertainment.
Foods ranged from Italian, to Mexican and to German. Some of the foods offered were bruschetta, coconut shrimp, vegetable curry with rice, Asian noodle salad, and tres leche cake. One of the acts included flamenco dancers with live music played by guitar and sung and there were different booths that students could purchase unique trinkets.
All of the proceeds from the event goes to fund the IU Southeast international studies scholarship for students.
