Garland is a Staff Reporter for The Horizon. He is a senior majoring in Multimedia Journalism. Garland has prior experience on the staff of The Horizon and also the Horizon Radio staff, where he was the Production Manager for a year. He is reporting primarily for the arts and entertainment beat, but he has written coverage of business, politics, and COVID-19 in the past. Garland is minoring in economics, history and theatre. He has been a radio personality for TTRPGs, heavy metal and goth/alternative music. Garland also writes fiction in his spare time for his blog, which you can find through his Instagram.
